Terms of Service

By accessing or using the ChurchOps AI internal operations portal ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). The Platform is operated by Christ Church USA ("Christ Church," "we," "us," or "our") exclusively for internal staff and authorized users.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform. Access is granted by system administrators and may be revoked at any time.

The Platform is a private, invitation-only system. Use is restricted to:

• Employed staff of Christ Church USA
• Authorized volunteers granted access by an administrator
• Contracted service providers with explicit written approval

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account, access code, or session with any other person. Any activity under your account is your responsibility.

You agree to use the Platform only for legitimate church operational purposes. You must not:

• Access, modify, or delete data that is outside the scope of your assigned role
• Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or disable any security or access control mechanism
• Use the Platform to store, transmit, or distribute unlawful content
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform without prior authorization
• Share confidential church operational data obtained through the Platform with unauthorized parties
• Use the Platform for personal commercial purposes

The Platform integrates with Google's YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API to display channel performance data for Christ Church's official YouTube channel. Use of this integration is subject to the YouTube API Services Terms of Service.

Only authorized administrators may connect or disconnect the YouTube channel integration. The OAuth credentials used are scoped to read-only access — the Platform does not post, modify, or delete any content on the YouTube channel.

YouTube and Google are trademarks of Google LLC. This Platform is not endorsed by or affiliated with Google LLC.

All software, design, and content comprising the Platform is the property of Christ Church USA or its development partners. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the Platform solely for authorized church operational purposes.

Operational content entered into the Platform (notes, documents, reports) remains the property of Christ Church USA. Staff-entered content does not grant any intellectual property rights to individual users.

The Platform uses artificial intelligence (Groq / LLaMA) to generate summaries, insights, email classifications, and grant analysis. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional legal, financial, medical, or pastoral advice.

Staff are responsible for exercising independent judgment when acting on AI-generated recommendations. Christ Church is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of AI-generated content.

The Platform contains confidential church operational data including pastoral care records, personnel information, financial grant data, and ministry metrics. By using the Platform, you agree to:

• Keep all Platform data strictly confidential
• Not disclose Platform content to individuals outside the authorized user base
• Report any suspected data breach or unauthorized access to the system administrator immediately

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Christ Church reserves the right to perform maintenance, apply updates, or temporarily suspend access at any time without prior notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Christ Church USA and its staff shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the Platform, including loss of data or service interruptions.

Christ Church may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, including upon your separation from the organization. Upon termination, your obligation to maintain the confidentiality of Platform data survives indefinitely.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material updates will be communicated through the Platform or via email to authorized users. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from use of the Platform shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in New Jersey.
